ASD12 is a scuba diving and underwater hockey (also called octopush) non-profitmaking sport organization (later called "the club"), located in Paris, 12th district (Paris's "arrondissement").

It is an affiliated member of FFESSM, French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports, which has more than 20 years of existence and experiment in this field.

A friendly club

Divers are jovial and that's the case in ASD12 club. Its 220 members meet at the swimming pool, and then a big part of them go to the restaurant to drink, eat and discuss.

In addition to diving outings & trips, the club organizes an end of year party, meetings by subject (Underwater biology ...) and roller outings. Even when the swimming pool is closed, some members meet at "the summer restaurant" (each wednesday evening in July and August).

A rigorous managerial staff

Scuba diving is teached by qualified instructors ("MF1", which are gratuated French Federated Intructors (CMAS 2** Instructors),  and "Initiateurs" (CMAS instructors 0 and 1* ) ... who are all voluntary (Yes it still exists ...)

All level trainings

Whatever your initial level, beginner or hardened scuba diver, you can all find your place in the club : it prepares for CMAS Levels 1 to 4 (*), and delivers degrees for Levels 1 to 3. Nitrox specialization can also be studied and validated.

(*) : Level 4 theoritical training course, situation trainings and final exam are organized by Paris Regional Comitee (CD75). Physical training takes place in our swimming pool. Besides, all trainings leading to supervision are lead in collaboration with CD75. It includes "Instructeur", Level 4 and MF1 degrees.

Swimming Pool activities

The club proposes :

_ Two swimming pool trainings per week

_ One weekly theoritical training for CMAS Levels 1 to 3

_ One monthly deep pool training (15 meters) located in Charenton (accessible with Paris'subway).

Diving outings & trips

The club organizes, at regular intervals :

_ Diving week ends in Mediterranean sea : these week end take place from October to December and from March to June. These week end are not necessarily technical : exploration divings or autonomy divings can also take place. Swimming pool Level 1 divers can also validate sea divings.

_ One "all Levels" (Level 1 and more) diving trip for the start of new shool year

_ One Level 2 and more diving trip in June

_ At the same period, one diving trip for beginners leading to Level 1 (This trip generally takes place in Frioul Marseille's island)

_ One tropical diving trip

_ One week training course leading to Level 2 in Marseille (first week of July)

_ Special outings (sand yacht ...)
